He did trial/play a few SG Ball games this year in the halves such is his passing abilities but is much more comfortable at centre. Very good overall game.
This is the same Tui Afualo that made 183 metres in 13 runs in his NYC debut against the Titans. He has the size and is willing to use it but as has been seen tonight he has that little bit of class about him.
Could certainly be on the cards, he has the attributes and the aggression to play in the middle. He could end up having a similar role to Kenny Edwards.
For the moment I'd be sticking with him at centre, he's pretty good at it.

My memories of him at Wyong in the first game this year was very impressive back then, I only saw the 2nd half of the game tonight & gee hasn't he kept up his standard since then. His size places him as an ideal centre, & without doubt he should be pressing for NRL in another 2 years.
I would not like to put undue pressure on him but gee I hope he can be signed up & kept as there's little doubt that he will be on other clubs get list, That ball passed from his right had across his body to the left for the winger to score was something else, & absolutely amazing, even the Maroons players stood with their mouths open as they could not see how he passed the ball with the ease he did.
Shame the NRL Blues did not get inspiration from that pass.
"Coryn, agree with all.
All halfbacks are at the mercy of their pack & teammates, 100%. DB has had zero consistentcy around him.
Its that study & learning to become a genuinely elite halfback, I doubt with DB? Which is not an attack, he just has…"
"Yup. That's the kinda shit that happens when the only consideration in your decision making is 'can he help us win football games'.
And they wonder why they have a culture problem."
"I don't mind the um's and R's. That to me makes me think he's actually thinking about the question being asked, rather than the same answers dished out in years gone by. I'm hoping Ryles can build a great relationship with the press and get some…"

Unfortunately Curran isn't in the starting side but Tui is.
Lovely work by Tui to create an opportunity and then finish it off
Just brilliant from Tui. No look pass for a try!
His passing game is just sublime for a centre.

What about the possibility of a ball-playing lock role, Ham?

He'd make sure Semi got good ball, at least!

Look at the size of him compared to the Manly kid!
