Thankfully, Trump is okay. However, the heroic near-miss, the patriotic fist-pumping photo-op, the exquisitvely placed flag and bullet-proof fearlessness of props and photographers make me wonder if there is more to this than meets the eye. It would not surprise me in the slightest.

The motive is there. Considering his recent court cases, it's a shot in the arm for his political ambitions. It's also partly revenge for his lost election "rig".

PS: People will say, ah this is a centre-lefty talking. But, one, it's just a sneaking suspicion not saying it's true. Two, actually, I like many aspects about Trump, and am not a Biden fan. I also actually believe Trump wants to do good in his own way - and some of my American friends I consider some of the best people I have come across. Three, I don't care much for the whole left-right evil stuff. I like people from all walks of life, left, right, Muslim, Christian, Russian, Jewish, Arab. Don't care about that stuff unless people get fanatic...

"Brad Arthur was a favourite for a while, and rightfully so. I think he is the perfect coach for a rebuild as a steady head with experience. Issue is, Perth media are anti NRL, so the NRL thought we need to get them onside and how do we do that?…"
"Chiefy, who is their coach again? For the sake of the game, they need to be going ok in the first 5 yrs; and if I was a player and got offered a deal their, I would look at it but having Meninga as coach is a concern. Their strength needs to come…"
