Independent review via a public body is the only viable option now

All of these below are enough for me to believe neither the NRL or the Eels Board (and definitely not the News Ltd media) should be trusted to review this situation or navigate the path out of the mess that faces the Eels, the NRL and every other club. Has to be an independent body. Doesn't get more independent than the courts. Press forward gang of 5..... and let the cards fall where they may.

  • Whilst i really want to wake up tomorrow and see it all over...i just have to agree with you Yoda.
Like this year may be ground zero for the Eels, it may be a watershed for the NRL.
A great chance for the NRL to get rid of TPAs, publish salaries - get everything out in the open. The template is there in NFL it just needs the administration of the game to do it. Unfortunately it will mean that certain teams will really be ..changed. no more 200k contracts for test players.
    Ahhhh I can only dream.
As for TG..if he sanctions Nolan, as he certainly should and gets the full wrath of the Broncos against him, ill be the first to sing his praises.
Ive already articulated my reason for an independent adjudicator.
