Trent Robinson tip the bucket on referee Ben Cummins in the after game press conference yesterday. He said, et al , that East`s win very few games under Cummins. He also said, sounding and looking, like an old sheila, that Cummins speaks nasty to his players!!! Oh my, are you having problems, or are you having problems?

His remarks re Cummins must invoke a penalty from Jesus Greenberg.

There lies the rub. Nick Polities runs the Roosters,TPA specialist, but he was also influential in getting Greenburge up as CEO. Does  Greenburge hit Robinson with a hefty fine, as he should because if precedent is any guide, Robinson was questioning the honesty of a referee. A large fine and maybe a suspension would be indicated.

Whats the odds that Greenburge sets a large fine, say $50000  with $45000 suspended after Uncle Nick calls in some of the debts Greenberge owes him? Robinson apologises and NFA required. Cummins does not referee Easts anymore and promises to speak nicely to players at all times! Cummins gets many Canterbury games as compensation.

  • I've never seen a more one sided refereeing bias. The Roosters we're totally ripped off in all departments
  • Good on him. Some one had to say it. The standard of referring since round 3 has been diabolical.
  • What did he do to his Nanna?
  • Hayne still going to roosters??? haha
    • I reckon it will happen.

    • Greenberg will let Roosters sign Hayne, just so Politis will owe him another favour.
  • Strange how criticism can be openly levelled at the leaders of the country. Yet the reffing and now Todds baby, the 'bunker' are a no go zone.
Still reckon Robinson/Politis would consider it money well spent.

There was an article questioning whether BA would be in hot water after his very tame comments post cows match. Consider what we've been on the end of the last couple coutesy bunker, (regardless of manly win) think Arthur has controlled himself unbelievably well in the face of out and out bad bunker calls.

The two coach pressers aren't in the same ballpark for accusations
Still such is my faith in NRL rulings at the moment wouldn't be surprised if BA was fined equal.

... doubt easts will get too many dodgy calls from here tho and be interesting to see how Moa goes at judiciary?
  • Maybe chief, but I saw nothing more than what happened to us in Townsville. Do we believe that Thurston would have been sent off? I doubt it...
