  • Nope, can’t say I’ve heard anything about this. Would he be a good pick up or not?

  • A mate just texted me the very same thing. He and Peachey want out, apparently. Peachey to the Titans.
  • Dammit I was hoping for KIKAU!

  • Yeah but what’s a contract and they must be flying close to the wind...wishful thinking that maybe he would higher on the pecking order here as well...taking into account RCG and highly priced Tamou. Maybe after Kikau recent form and if this rumour is true  it’s why Merrin is  being pushed out. From memory he was highly priced signing  at the time as well.

anyway was hoping that we’d make an offer he couldn’t refuse and it’d be kikau they’d release. Argh well.

  • This would be fantastic

  • This would just about complete the puzzle. I really would like this to happen but where are people hearing this from? I doubt Gus would let this happen.

  • If true they must have cap issues due to signing Maloney as his third parties monies was not approved (ie., not at arms length).  They may have been pressured to significantly upgrade Cleary as well?

Merrin would value add our forwards, but he is on a lot of money (Penrith would need to chip in).  Maybe the monies kept for Semi is on offer to Merrin?

Kikau, Fisher-Harris and Cartwright would be my preference from Penrith, but I'd be happy with Merrin.

    • I think he and Tahmou are on about $700,000 each. A lot of cabbage tied up in that pack

    • Cartwright's defence is shthouse.

The Fish is a gun though. Kikau or RCG would be my two main preferences from the Panthers.

Merrin is a quality player and a leader, we could do a hell of a lot worse.
