Wondering regarding this news on a potential spark player to come in to play fullback has to do with Trent Barrett?
Seems strange over the BA tenure he has never reacted this way?
So makes you wonder if the player they have in mind has ties to Trent Barrett.

Last year Arthur tried to sign 3 props going into the backhalf of the season when he realised we needed some grunt. It's not a new tactic.
To move a solid player is what i mean. Yes he tried to add depth but this is different
The CBA sort of crueled it for us with signing players, had it been done earlier we would have gotten Taupau i believe and same for a Centre.
I see what you're saying Inside Info, that BA looking for a player to play 14 is different. If that is his plan then it is way different. Though being active in the market is not as Wiz mentioned we have been looking for another Prop for nearly a year now, plus a Centre.
It could be possible that by the Easter Monday clash we could have a new player or have at least signed one by then but not in time for the game.
Curious as to why it is assumed that when anything like this comes up it always the "barrett", "mary", "ennis" or "johns" effect???
Anything crap that happens is the fault of BA, but anything positive or different is always from one of the assistants or consultants???
I see it as the growth of our coach. He tapped an out of form forward in Nathan Brown on the shoulder.Off the top of my head, He did the same with Bevan and Sandow in years gone bye. He replaced Hodgo with a debutant, he has resisted throwing JA onto the bench this year, He has made it very clear that he wants another solid talented Middle in the squad.
Ive seen him appoint new coaches that take him in different directions and potential replacement as coach if required. He has left 2 or 3 spots in the squad to be filled " depending if Hands has been uograded or was a disspensation last week".
