Burns makes more tackles and is mentally adjusted more than Roberts.
Roberts probably can run the ball better though.
Roberts is taller and the weight is on par.
If Roberts can not find consistency I would make a play for Burns. He has mongrel and puts in 110%. He may even provide value off the bench if SK will not look at Saege or Mullaney?
Travis burns is EXACTLY the player we need. Full of energy and absolutely hates to lose. I would grab him AND make him the captain of team.... And no I haven't started drinking yet....
The riff are willing to offload Mick Gordon for half a year before he heads to the sharks. If we were in a better position he could be a handy pick up (if his knee is good enough)
"I heard this morning that the nrl were going to sign off a contract with Melbourne despite parras contract clause. This move makes a lot of sense if that was the case. I think this has been well handled by Parra."
"Nice. But the NRL should be backing us. We have called V'landys bluff now as this drags on, lets bring him to heel by making his impotence and abandonment a talking point. I am proud of us for kicking this off in their faces"
"V'Landys has lost a lot recently. Lost the Rosehill proposal. Lost the 10 year ban plan and now this.
We threw them under the bus saying they signed off on the agreement to Lomax. How bad would they look if they forced to break something they signed…"

Travis Burns?
Dear oh dear oh dear....
also someone asked about manu staying at melbourne
he said parra might grab him now they have missed out on t rex
Travis Burns is just what we need, he is a terrier and a cranky little bugger.
A bit of niggle is just what we need.
they need to get rid of at least one player to make some space
Niggle is fine, as long as a player has a few other things going for him. But Burns is all niggle and mistakes.
Pass.

Travis Burns is a goer! He is a cocky little bugger who plays way above his weight. He would bring some competitive mongrel into our soft team.
