Travis Burns is just what we need, he is a terrier and a cranky little bugger.
A bit of niggle is just what we need.

Niggle is fine, as long as a player has a few other things going for him. But Burns is all niggle and mistakes.

Burns makes more tackles and is mentally adjusted more than Roberts.
Roberts probably can run the ball better though.
Roberts is taller and the weight is on par.
If Roberts can not find consistency I would make a play for Burns. He has mongrel and puts in 110%. He may even provide value off the bench if SK will not look at Saege or Mullaney?
The riff are willing to offload Mick Gordon for half a year before he heads to the sharks. If we were in a better position he could be a handy pick up (if his knee is good enough)
Travis Burns is a goer! He is a cocky little bugger who plays way above his weight. He would bring some competitive mongrel into our soft team.
