  • I honestly think the club will consider keeping peats. Listening to some of the interviews with gutho and degoise. They don't want the playing group broken up. What's the point playing for points if we aren't going to win games any way. It seems like they all WANTO be at parra long term and that's all coming from the influence BA has on the team the players respect him.
  • As good as that is that dosent fix the salary cap and we need money to resign normy ,cold hard fact ,take emotions out
    • Watmough just retired freeing up 900k for next season, plus the cap increases by 200k.

With an extra 1.1 million in cap space I'm sure we have the money to upgrade Norman and Peats

    • We were only over the cap due to the loading of an additional 700k worth of dodgy TPAs. This has no bearing on next years cap.
  • Play for Pride, Peats to stay!

  • I know, I just want him to stay.

  • So was Gavin Badger, he was getting tips off Peats, he is Peats Replacement.

    • Whenever Badger & Maxwell reffed together did you ever get the feeling one of them might suddenly grab the footy and run off down the field to be chased & tackled by the other bloke.
  • I'm no expert when it comes to the salary cap, however the fact we have so many players coming off contract next year, surely there is some room to free up space if they let them go now.

    Hasson

    Cornish

    Kelly

    Toutai

    Matthew Woods

    Cameron King

    Burreta

Surely the club can move some of these guys on to make room for Peats

    • One maybe two of these players would be in the top 25, we would then have to replace them with players of a similar price.

"De Belin will do a lot of the clean up work, the 3rd man in for our defence. Hopgood is now not alone in that area. He will not be flashy but he will definately do his job."

"positives are Loiero is out. That is a big piece of their middle, he does a lot of clean up work in defence, tightens up the attack. No Katoa and they are umming and arring whether to play Ativalu Lasati or Joe Chan on right edge.
