Training Blog -3rd April

It's a wet Good Friday and the boys were training in the rain. The new venue looks good, great surface with plenty of development space. When I arrived, Wenty and Parra were in the middle of an opposed session.The main aspects to report were as follows:* strong forward play. Great short balls and incisive runs.* both Norman and Sandow looked very sharp.* Tepai trained strongly. Didn't look at all inconvenienced.* Taka was in attendance behind the line, offering advice to the outside backs* Hoppa was taking the high kicks confidently in wet conditionsThere was a lot of confidence on show today. Both BA and the boys sounded very upbeat. Many of the injured boys were in attendance. Semi is probably another 8 weeks from returning.On a lighter note, the team may have found a new goal kicker. Manu Ma'u was taking kicks from the sideline and nailing them. IDG let him know that he should be the kicker. Can't say the same about Tepai's kicking!

    I hope Hoppa did some extras catching the high ball. JT will ensure the bombs will be raining upon him on Monday.
