Love the fact this bloke has obviously turned up here with the right attitude. We all know how good Foran is but for Gutherson to get this award shows the kid is here to compete.
Who knows, could this bloke be our strike centre we have been waiting for? He certainly has the speed the burn!

The Dyldam Parramatta Eels congratulates the winner of our "Hux Grill - Trainer of the Preseason", Clint Gutherson!
The Trainer of the Preseason award recognises one player for putting in the biggest efforts of the preseason in the gym and on the training field as voted by the entire playing squad.
Gutherson thoroughly deserves this award, being a stand out, especially in conditioning, since arriving at the Eels.

Gutherson is no Tom Trbojevic and Manly moved Gutherson and Hiku on so Tom would have a permanent starting position in the Manly backline in 2016.
Young Tom is very, very quick and I would guess he would be in the top 3 to 5 players over 100 metres in the NRL and Gutherson would most likely not be in the top 20 over 100. Tom is 6'5'' tall and around 100kg's and reminiscent of a young Inglis in ability and physic.
Don't get me wrong Gutherson is a very, very good age player but Tom is an elite player irrespective of age and will play State of Origin and Test footy in the near future.
I've seen a lot of Trbojevic and Gutherson play as I had a family member in the same teams as them over the past few years.
At this stage, he really cannot gain any further praise than that of his team mates which this is awarded by. Congrats Clint!
His background is as a goal kicking fullback.
Last picture I saw of Pauli he appeared to have lost all the puppy fat that he had when BA was training along side him.
