Reported falling out could lead Paupau out of Manly

Speculation is growing that Taupau could leave Manly after a reported falling out with his teammates.

during the round 18 NRL match between the Manly Sea Eagles and the Melbourne Storm at Lottoland on July 14, 2018 in Sydney, Australia.

Manly prop Marty Taupau could be on the move after reports that he has fallen out with the club, as reported the Daily Telegraph.

The 28-year old is contracted at the Sea Eagles until the end of the 2020 season, but rival clubs are circling amid whispers that he wants out of Manly.

Taupau was benched by coach Trent Barrett during the the club’s clash with the Panthers despite originally being named to start, a move which the Kiwi Test prop brushed aside.

“There were many reasons as to why I started off the bench (and) so many assumptions,” Taupau told Sporting News.

“I took that (the demotion) onboard and worked with the other forwards off the bench.”

  • Hope Parra throw the house and kitchen sink at him. Would be a good pack if we had 8 Alvaro 9 Mahoney 10 Paulo 11 Ma'u 12 Moeroa 13 Toupou 14 Mannah 15 Lane 16 Brown 17 Terepo

    • You lost me at Mannah

      • Timmy seriously has to go, he's like a very bad smell that never goes away.

  • Is it toopoo, Taupoo, poopoo, taupau, taupou??
  • Wonder if he got on with Moses at Tigers

  • His name is spelled wrong twice.

    Lucky there’s a pic.

    • Look it's a hard name to spell, and it wasn't like it was anywhere in the story he copied...oh wait it was...

    • It literally took me 20 seconds to work out who we were talking about .

  • Are you guys ever going to spell his name right
  • does this mean taupau   will come to parra now seeing lanes coming too.

old reports on this site said toupau would only sign with parra if lane   was signed  , as lane was the future and protector of him in manly forwards , well rumours may come true..

early reports was  manly  wanted   taupau  shopped around to free up hes $600,000 a season.
