The Eels will be playing a desperate Penrith side tonight, a win looks a must given how difficult our next few weeks look on paper.
After this week we have:
Rd 12 - Rabbitohs (H)
Rd 13 - Sharks (A)
Rd 14 - Broncos (H)
Rd 15 - Raiders (H)
I fear for our season over the next month, with the re-signing of Gutherson and Arthur I was expecting a spirited effort from the team in Townsville but they failed to deliver.
If the team turns up like they did last week these teams will put 50 on us.
How will we fare coming out of this period?

Most games are hard to win even for the best teams
Bunnies might be without Cook and Reynolds/Walker
Gagai and murray is a possibility too.
Yeah, it'd be our best chance of getting them, if that's the case.
I see the blues picking bloody Cleary though, so I still don't like our chances against Reynolds and Walker
It's all about attitude for the Eels. If they are willing to do the tough stuff they will go OK.
Oh shut up.. you guys make me laugh. We are SO much better than we were last year. We're still in the 8, and when we finally achieve consistency we should be up there. The club is expected to have a strong recruitment run in the next 2 years. A lot of people here say players won't want to come to Parra. Guess what? Newcastle were in a much worse situation and they signed some elite forces. I like BA, so I disagree with a lot of you on here. However, in 2 years there will be a ton of coaches on the market.
Santa Claus might be available. If not, then can you speak to your mate the Easter bunny and see if he knows anyone interested
You're all fools
Alex, You hit it on the head. Realistic about the present and hopeful for the future. It is rare to find an optimist on this site. May you have a long and fruitful life. Good on you Alex.
After we lose a few the decision to offer BA 2 more years will look even dumber
