It's been a crappy week for the Eels but on a positive note Parra are still well and truly in the hunt for a top 4 finish.
If we can beat the dogs tomorrow and the storm beat the broncos, we'll leapfrog the Bunnies and Brisbane. Then we would need to beat the broncos next week and the storm on the final round. The storm would need to drop their game against the red hot Roosters next week though.
Alternatively, if the broncos beat Melbourne tomorrow and we win our remaining 3 games we make the top 4.
A little bit of hope I suppose.

I usually find, the moment you're relying on other results you're buggered.
We are not making the top four. We can look back to losses against Wests and Canterbury-Bankstown as one of the reasons why.
Possible but unlikely. Which would be the best option? Finishing in top 4 gives teams a 2nd chance.
Eels would have to win 3/3 (beating Broncos in process) and the Storm 1/3.
Otherwise if Eels win 2/3 (32 points) Storm (1/3), Broncos and Souths (2/3) on 32 would have a better differential.
I'm more concerned about the stats of the Eels missing the 8 if they lose 3/3!
Next 2 years will be much better as the Eels have signed Trent Barrett as Assistant Coach
Well Daz for us to miss the 8 we have to lose 3/3 which is damn possible, i can see us beating Canterbury but Brisbane and Melbourne are 50/50. could be 1/3. Like are favs v Canterbury but not sure about Brisbane and Melbourne. But even if we lose last 3 we still make it, the ball will be in Canberra's court, if we lose then Canberra lose we make semi's. We win we make semi's. We win either of our next 3 we are in semi's. It would be quite embarrassing if we do not make it.
Canberra have Newcastle, Manly and Wests to finish.
