So tonight Manly , who last week were title contenders got beat, One of Raiders or Chooks must lose this weekend, and if we win are on 26 with 3rd and 4th sitting on 28 points.the bottom two teams in the 8 seems to change every week it's quite fascinating. It is not inconceivable that at this stage if we keep winning that we could even end up 2nd by the end of regular rounds.this blog has no point I guess I am just getting excited and getting two bites of the cherry in the finals would be great. I know that we are miles behind Roosters and Storm but hey it's the finals and anything could happen right?

The big question is IF the Eels keep winning. Penrith have just won tonight which puts them temporarily into 7th spot. IF the Eels lose too many games they could find themselves out of the 8 so every had is a must win situation.

Yep, there is definately a strong chance that we can get the 2nd spot with a final @ home or ANZ. We just keep winning with bigger margins now and let the other teams collapse amongst each other leaving a sufficient crack for us to slip through and steal 2nd spot. Go the Eels.
Yes egg man Parra can achieve that and I would think are likely to come 2nd even with one loss . So we have one spare Lol . Likewise just one win ( whether today or from any one of the remaining games) is likely to earn eels the 8th spot.
Yes alot of eggspurts are saying that we have had an easy run, failed when up against top teams, maybe true, every game from here is must win not just for ladder position but confidence going into the finals.We was on a high in '17 and beat the storm in week one, just couldn't beat the refs.
