  • We didn't let go Lyon, he wanted out.
    • The club could of done a better job fighting for him though.  Other clubs seem to fight for their players.   Maybe with some persistence they could of seen that he wasn't really homesick and his story was bollocks.

      • Had nothing to do with being homesick.  Do a little research!

        • How about you tell us your version of the story as to why he left and then we can compare notes.

          • Happy to PM, but out of respect, not on here.

            •  I would also be very interested in hearing what you know about the Lyon situation. I have heard a story and would be very interesting to compare stories. Please PM me and we can talk about this further.

      • Do you know the real story. NO.

        Then shut up dumbass

  • Don't forget Brett Finch, had we not let him go to the Storm in 09 we may just have won the premiership.
    • Lol the stars aligned for us to get to the GF. Having Finch probably would’ve made us come 12th
    • We also wouldn't have to listen to his constant love affair for everything Cameron Smith and Melbourne Storm when he is commentating.

"Reality bites hard. No one knows more about losing stars than the Panthers. You wouldn't describe Matt Cameron as a useless dope, because he couldn't convince this galaxy of stars to stay or because he follows Ivan Cleary's footy strategies.

"Hypothetical. Our wives or husbands tell us, "I want to explore a few sugar daddies over the next few years, or indefinitely". Which is strength of character: begging them to stay, hypnosis or drawing a line in the sand, letting them go?
