From this list Segeyaro or Koroisau are a must. I can't see TPJ going anywhere but if Oates wants to play back row he would be welcome here where we have struggled in the back row this year.

We have an opportunity to replicate the old Broncos teams of the 90's (with Sailor & Tuquiri on their wings) when everyone was saying they had 8 forwards on the field at the same time.
We can have a wing combo of Oates & Tupou providing us with a similar 7th & 8th forwards on the field as that 90's Broncos team.
How can you lose with a signing like Corey Oates? If he fails to secure a second row position, then he'll be a perfect replacement for Semi. A true wing replacement for Semi.
And besides, Oates will have plenty of opportunities to play a bit of second row especially if our horrific injury toll in our forward pack continues next season.
What are you waiting for Parramatta Eels officials/administrators? We've got money to friggen burn.
Corey Oates, Daniel Tupou, and Tevita Pangai Junior should ALREADY BE SIGNED-SEALED-DELIVERED for 2019 and beyond
Oates going to Cowboys
We’ve struggled in the back row this year you say ?
So your answer is to sign a player who has never played anywhere but the wing.
Besides, Manu Ma’u, Moeroa & Niukore are plenty good enough.
like I said, if he fails to crack it in the 2nd row, we can have 2 giants on our wings. How many wingers out there who really want a chance to play second row? See how he goes in our trials. He has the size & speed to do a lot of damage out wide as well as create opportunities for his outside men. If he fails, back to the wing.
Imagine Tupou & Oates on our wings with Takairangi & Jennings in the centres. Or Hayne & Jennings inside Tupou & Oates depending where Hayne plays or if he's even with us next season. If he's not, then that's even more money towards new signings.
If Oates makes a fist of it in the second row, we could have 2 gigantic second rowers in Lane & Oates destroying defensive lines with their size, speed, power, and off-loads. Combined with Brown, Mau, Moeroa, and Niukore, (good luck picking the bench Brad Arthur ;) we'll have the most destructive back row in the NRL. Even better if we sign TPJ
You cannot justify having more than 4 edge forwards in a 30 man roster. There is simply not enough game time for them all. Manu & Moeroa are established & Niukore looks really good already. With the addition of Lane we simply cannot fit anymore edge forwards in our roster. Now if you want to sign Oates strictly as a winger, fine, but why would he leave the Broncos to play the same position when he has made it clear he wants to play on an edge ?
Simply put, he won’t.
Tupou would be less expensive but not nearly as damaging. He isn’t the physical presence that Oates is.
@ Brett Allen, say what!,"You cannot justify having more than 4 edge forwards in a 30 man roster". 4 edge forwards in a 30 man roster is the minimum, 2 starters, at least 1 on the bench and a minimum of 1 back up.
Agree HKF, not sure what Brettles is on about. All the defending of the club is taking it's toll.
We had 6 edge forwards this season in the squad if you include Taka and it didn't seem enough.
Manu, Moeroa, Edwards & Niukore. I’m not including Taka as he wasn’t signed as an edge strictly.
So Al, who have I missed ?
