If there was one major downside for the blues it was this guy....what a waste of space. Only played a few minutes & did nothing. Got the ball 10m out from the Maroons line & didn't even run just handed it off to Watmough who almost dropped it because he wasn't expecting it.
Hopefully Fifita will be fit for game two or bring in Tolman or someone who's going to make hard yards. I realise Williams is an edge backrower but do the Blues need another one on the bench? Hoffman is an 80 min player & was one of their best before being replaced.
...almost forgot...did you noticed his jersey after the game...hardly a spec of dust on it!

The way they played in the first half they should have won easily. But there were 16 players who put their heart & soul on the line to defend throughout the second half while one player sat on the sideline with a clean jersey.
With all those players tired & injured defending grimly in the last 5 min why wasn't Williams put back on being a fresh man? Obviously Daley had no confidence in him.
That's an even worse thought.... the reason NSW could win was because that no-hoper Bird was not there. I'm hoping he breaks his leg or a meteor falls on his house or any miracle stopping him from being included in the second game & losing the unlosable game!
KWTK Bird is nearly the best player for NSW every time he plays, out of memory he won a MOTM last year, he is a gun in origin, you cant be serious?
You can't be serious I'm yet to see Bird do anything of 1st grade standard in NRL or SOO. Opposition forwards AND backs run straight over top of him. Seems the only thing he's good at is glassing women! I would rather Sefo Paulo than Bird!
