can anyone please tell me who Tony Bongo is ? I remember Parra Jesus on TV is he also a member here.
There seems to be many blogs about Tony. Has this guy left this site or just given up on the terrible EELS.
Maybe he was a bandwagon supporter and was here only during the good times and when it wasnt so good he left the building
He was a member here and led the Swarm for a period of time but he moved interstate a few years ago.
so he is no longer a member on this forum. What happened to the swarm. Why would you call a group of supporters a swarm? its odd not refelctive of the team we follow, although and EEL or a group of EELS would be called a what ? hmmmm maybe Burra Clan.
Interstate members are on this forum still maybe he was just a bandwagon supporter because you would still attend games interstate or here when you could and still be part of this forum.
The Swarm still exists. Don't know how you call a guy who ran for the board in 2012 as an independent and financed it out of his own pocket a bandwagoner. A group of eels is called a swarm.
That guy who likes to PISS take anyone and everyone. Fong must be a favourite of the local GP and chemist where he eats angry sacastic pills all day and jumps behind his PC to throw daggers at the club and the supporters when he cant agree with anything you say.

He ran for the board in 2012 ok so if he is as passionate about the eels he would still be a member of the club in some capacity and still be a big fan. He is 100% a bandwagon supporter, otherwise he would still be attending games and being vocal to help in setting up supporter groups. If he has walked away then im sorry to tell you, that he is not a true supporter and his lack of involvement with the club even interstate would still be visible in some fashion. No amount of money makes you better than any other supporter, though it helps if you have plenty of it to make life just a tad more easier. Dont get me wrong he may have been a great supporter but he isnt any longer which leads me to my next question. Where the hell is he now and why isnt he supporting through the bad times. Will he turn up if we make the grand final and once again be a vocal supporter.
I hope we get to the GF, but I think our year will be in 2021 not this year or next.
He might still be a footy club and leagues club member.
If he's living interstate he may well also still attend games in the state he lives in - he may even travel up or down to Sydney occassionally.
The fact that he's no longer a contributor on this site doesn't mean he has deserted the Eels.
Maybe he has personal reasons as to why he isn't around any more.

Did I say it was a big deal, I just posed a simple question and made my personal views on the person as per my normal protocol. I dont care if he has his own agenda or is no longer a member. Its just very odd thats all. You just dont fall in love and out of love in the space of a few years.
Well there are a few hundred, maybe a thousand, 1EE posters who have ceased posting over the last 5 odd years since Bongo left. Obviously there's been over a thousand new posters to replace them and thus the site has grown over this period. The site's membership is fluid.
The fact that you've chosen this bloke above all the others to get a fixation on suggests you think his departure is a big deal, regardless of what your "normal protocol" may be.
