Anyone watch the NSW Cup action on the weekend this young bloke caught my attention!! Played on the edge and was very strong and I believe they said he was only young. Anyone know much about him (contracted wise and where his from) he looks like a koloamatangi & olakau'atu type of player and frame.

Yeah he had massive raps on him in Harold Matts and SG Ball for us, then signed with Newcastle in 2020, when he signed we were filthy that he did. He debuted for NSW cup last year for Newcastle at 19, but as many other juniors across the league got hampered by COVID stoppages.
Came back this year, had an injury early on and only just returned, the club are high on him and had he played from the start maybe he could have been looked at for a debut.
He is a big unit.
With his size and strength he could make guys like Kikau look like a mini marshmallow if he makes it to 1st grade.
I think he needs a little more conditioning for NRL though, seeing him in the sheds in NSW cup his shoulders were small, might need a little more conditioning and then will be good to go.
