Today``s Announcement

Just remember that Greenberge was with the Canterbury administration when they were flogging the salary cap. What moral right has he to hand down penalties? I blame Chairman Grant for appointing Greenberge, thus putting the NRL in this invidious position

  • No he wasnt
    • Learn something new everyday then SOH , for some reason I always thought he was your football manager or operations or something like that at the time .
    • Shush s.o.h don't let facts get in the way of the stories that the Kents and Tabakoffs of this site want to tell
  • From memory, Malcolm Noad was the CEO then.

  • If we cheated then we need to cop it. No ones fault but our own. It's embarrassing fans blaming the media, nrl, greenburg, grant, etc.

    • Not many people are saying we didn't cheat. But the punishment must fit the crime and be in line with previous punishments. We should be comparable to newy and warriors, not storm and Canterbury.
    • Yes we should however the punishment should fit lhr crimes and be in line with precedent - if it's not that's what opens door for legal action
    • I don't know? Anyone on the news!
Really even know the true out come
      As we speak.
As I just heard on Fox Sports n.r.l.
      that the salary cap cheating
Goes back as far as 5. years ago,
Is this for real, or what! I'm shocked that n.r.l board has lowered there
standards to have to go backwards or what!
I just also heard that! As I speak that! As far as B.A. Is concerned and all of
      Parramatta Eels players are all"
""INNOCENT"", As they do not know?
      where their money comes from.
As they have brought up only Watmough's name for some reason,

Possibly because he wants to retire,
There will be more money, in the
      cap is my belief.

All clubs and Eel Haters as there's
many of them SHAME ON YOU"",
As from all that is being said in all
      of the news reports.
      They don't know? What's really
going on! But they still want to have a
say it's big huge huge Phucking
      news.
I Must Apologize To All Of You For Thinking? And Believing That I Had
      Something To Tell You All!
      All My Respect To You.
P.S. Now they are saying we Will loose 12. Points I can't take this, Nor
will our players. No no no.
      Parramum... lol...
  • We don't know to what scale the indiscretions were. We need to hear the details and the sanctions before comparisons can be made.

  • Greenburg joined Bulldogs in 2008. Their salary cap scandal happened in 2002 and before.
