Nudger there is a lot more to this. Barrett hasn't punted him, he's removed him from the team environment for his own welfare. Trent Barrett has known Jackson Hastings since he was 15 years old, he's genuinely concerned for his welfare. Reading between the lines it's clearly a mental health issue that needs to be addressed.
I suggest you listen to Gus' Set of Six podcast for a more informed explanation.
