To All those graduating

To all those graduating year 12 today, I'd like to say congratulations.Have a great schoolies week, but remember one mistake can screw your life. So remember if it's not on its not on.Also, I hope you get the OP you need to persue your dreams and welcome to the real world. You will soon find out that it's not what your teachers have been telling you, but if you're prepared to work hard thee are rewards and a good life ahead.Oh, and sorry for stuffing up the world and leaving it for you to sort out.Ps, My sons becoming a man.PSs. He's a parra fan so that is the footy content ticked off. Hahaha humour people, some here need it.

    Congrats to my third to graduate today. Going to the same uni as his older brother,fingers crossed next year. Yes.......only three to go......woohoo......great idea TBUR with the blog brother.......

      Ahhhhhhh schoolies week 1991 . What fun!!! So glad it wasn't the crazy drug fuelled , tit flashing , zoo it is these days . We were naughty but nice :-)) and only needed a dodgy movie id to get in underage to ' cocktails and dreams ' lol

    Where did you stay? I was there in 91 as well as a 17yr old. 

    Paper licence id, but from memory its a lot tamer these days.

      In 91 I stayed at ocean blue resort , ironically it's now paradise resort a play place for kids lol!! In 92 I went with younger male friends and stayed at Florida apartments :-) that year was wilder , they were public school boys lol

        LOL I went 91, 92 & in 93 with my younger brother.

        I remember Ocean Blue resort and some other dodgy apartments "Pink Poodle".

        We stayed in Miami the first year so you'd hook up with anyone who had accommodation in Surfers just to save the 8km beach walk home at 6am. lol

    Differing laws about having sex.

    The schoolies that come to QueeRZland from interstate need to be aware of the difference in the law pertaining to sex.

    The consensual age for SODOMY is higher in QueeRZland (18) than it is in Victoria (16) and GIRLS should be aware of this law.

    Didn't refer to any other type of sex - just sodomy and according to the article only girls need to know this difference in laws.

    What does that tell you about QueeRZland?
