I was a prolific poster hereayedeel for over a decade.
Parramatta IS AS will ALWAYS be my first LOVE, pre-dating girlfriends etc - i began following Parra as n 11yo boy in 1975. In my lifetime I have seenand ben part f the following
1975 The Hero's of 1975 - Parra's EPIC semi run and the "official" beginning of the Golden Age
1976 The dissapointmentof the 1976 F loss to Manly, s YES, Neville blew it !!!
1977 The dissapointment of Grand Final 1 - where he Crow missed a sitter to win the GF. and the dissappoinment of the Rod Reddy bloodbath as Ray Price & the Team were beaten 22-0. My logo, a baby crying - was chosen as I cried like a baby after that loss as a 13yo
1978 The EPIC semi final losses to Manly (semi + replay) at the SC - I was in the crowd both times as Greg Hartley sent Ray Price off and his debacle 7 tackle counts. Russel Gartner was unstoppable.
1981 Being in the Crowd at the SCG sitting in the Brewongle Stand near half way and without question my GREATEST RL memory - Bretty Kenny's dummy and his run into history.
1982 1983 1984 Grand Finals
1986 THE LAST GRAND FINAL - Terry Leabeater & Mark Laurie drove me to the game an watched Parra's gutsiest GF win EVER and seeing Pricey & The Crow retire
Many Many Many EPIC Parra memories BUT NOTHING hets close to the FIRST GRAND FINAL WIN !!!!
I was in the crowd in 2001 and 2009 Grand Finals, and have has my share of dissappointments
BUT to Parra fans that have NEVER EXPERIENCED a GRAND FINAL WIN in particular - From the bottom of my heart - I HOPE TODAY is YOUR DAY !!!
Obviously, a Parra win will be joyous for ALL Parra fans - but the Parra Virgins are in my heart today
I have been the LUCKIEST Parra fan of all time IMO - born at exactly the right time - so LUCK has a lot to do with it.
Parra will NEED some LUCK today to stop the Panthers juggernaught
BUT - this years team has shown some relience that has not been there is years gone by
GOOD LUCK Parra First Timers, GOOD LUCK all Parra fans and GOOD LUCK PARRA !!!!!
Go The Eels (written from my bandwagon) but Parra is was and always will be my first love

Born in 75 and started supporting Parra in 1980.
Witnessed all 4 of our amazing premierships but the memories are a bit foggy these days.
Would love to add a brand new memory to the collection today.
On the back of this blog Tele it got me thinking we are some of the other contributors from years gone by.
Surely they can post something today to help bring the boys home. Posters like:
Tentonz, Fathead, Rider, Monster Eel, Turpy, Horo Movie, Yobz, Jimmy, Joesph, Waterboy, Ealdarado, Micheal Picklum, Slip, FME....
WHERE ARE YOU GUYS? C'mon come out of hiding.
I'm jealous of you all because your knees don't creak when you get out of bed to take a leak for the third time in the night
Mine do
