I don't think it will matter who their coach is. Gold Coast have had enough attemts at having an NRL team & they never get it right because it's not the right area. Full of retirees that would rather be out playing bingo or poker & the rest are visitors. If the NRL commision had any idea of what they were doing the licence would be handed to Perth. Now that is a state I feel for because they actually get to the games played over there in numbers.

Personally I'd prefer that the Titans be put down. They don't have an identity and are a waste of space. As for the coach they need someone experienced to take over and lift them off the canvas. Tim Sheens or Brian Smith would be ideal short term options.
