First of all - congratulations to you SBBB! I do hope you enjoyed your win. Also, lovely to see all of those that I caught up with tonight. :-) Perfecto Amundo Inu Mannah - I will have to say hello to you at the next home game. :-)
Regarding tonight's game, I simply think we were a bit flat following the Monday night clash against Manly. We didn't play badly, we just didn't quite manage to step up like we have been the last few weeks.
I truly think all the criticism of the boys needs to stop too. There were stand outs tonight. Morts picked up his game, Tim Mannah was solid as always, Lukey burt was magic, Guru was strong and Ben Smith also did very well. I was also impressed with Tommy Humble and was pleased to yell out 'let's get Reddy to Humble!'
While KK was a bit quiet tonight, he is still working off an injury. He didn't spark our attack the way he has been doing in the last few weeks, but again with Morts improving and KK improving too, I think the combination will work well.
I also wanted to mention Matty Keating, who I also thought did well last night.
I refuse to read that the boys have no passion or are a disgrace. It's unnecessary and uncalled for. Also, passion is not a tap, I heard no complaints about passion when we beat the Dogs or Manly. As fans, we should expect losses to come and still support our team when they happen.
So onto bigger and better things next week - and thank you to everyone who cheered for Justin Poore - I know that he appreciates it!
This is Tink signing off! Good night all! :-)

Quick turn around is the obvious reason for the flatness of the team, plus missing the spark of Hayne. Most pleasing thing for me was that the boys busted their guts right to the end trying to score that last try and we probably could have/should have snagged the game. Probably just missing Haynes class in the final third.
Go the Blues and Blue & Gold
I might be convinced (it's going to take some work though ;-) to come and join the Swarm for the Melbourne game. I will have a new sign by then too!! :-)
P.S. It's ALWAYS Tim Time!!!
I do hope Poore improves to his best and he wants to stay, then we will have even more go forward and will be able to tighten up the holes that appear from time to time.
Can I also mention there are a couple of under 20's to watch out for (Loco) and a few others and with some experience and defence work we have some potential coming through when and if we need it.
A team must be honest enough with itself to recognise when they STUFF UP - when they play badly or when they are simply out gunned on the nite.
The defense we saw against Manly was terrific - last nite it was fractionated, and had no cohesion at all.
The boys were letting the oppostion come to them most of the time and our defense around the ruck and scrum base was tragic at times.
Watch all of the Cronulla tries and they were pretty soft.
On the other side our attack was as flambouyant and destructive as the best in the comp (at times)
Objective comment should not be mistaken as putting the team down.
To rephrase your comment - learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat them - then move on better equipped to conquer all.
Your respect for SBBB is obvious - as is the respect shown by other people as well - and in at that I stand and applaud those who can lose gracefully.
Still pissed off about it tho. - SIGH !!!!!
Grats SBBB.
