Tinkerbell Takes Off!

As many of you are aware - Tinkerbell is taking off for the next four weeks to sunny Greece. My parents think it is time they married me off - as 1Eyed knows, I am over 100 in Greek years. ;-) Also, I left on the same day last year and it sparked the beginning of our finals run... hopefully my departure does the same this year.

So this is just a small blog to say goodbye. I will try and keep up with as much Eels news as I can but will miss the site and all of you very much!

A few parting instructions -

1. Regardless of what happens over the next few weeks, enjoy the Eels and enjoy the season. We all hate the off season, so no matter what happens just enjoy the football while it is here.

2. Support our players - they are our boys and our team. Without signs and slogans, they need to know that they are still loved and I expect everyone to do their part!

3. To the Swarm - keep banging those bongos, singing those songs and letting the boys in blue and gold know they have our support!

4. To my fellow positive thinkers - it's now up to you to stay positive while I am gone and help everyone to keep the faith.

Look after each other, the boys in the blue and gold and I'll keep those who are interested in my travels as posted as often as I can!

A bit sad to read some of the blogs about our boys as of late.

Things just seem a bit wrong at the moment.

However - hopefully things can turn around.

  I'm in Europe at the moment and let me tell you how depressed i've become since i came on to read that Haynes walking out, our clubs falling apart and we got hammered by new zealand. In a way i think were both lucky to miss out on all the drama so hopefully when we come back it would have died down :(:(
  
  p.s tinks i don't know what the guys are like in Greece, but watching footy has made me unappreciative of all the skinny guys here hahha
