Unless that core group of players perform..... it is what it is...
Mannah has a dig , he may not be the standard of the opposition , but he had a dig . He probably thought everyone else would have a dig as well and they’d defend the wind early and come home strong with it in our back .
Hate Mannah all you want. He’s head and shoulders our best Prop. By a country mile actually. It’s not his fault the club hasn’t bothered to bring in Props better than him. It’s someones fault (BA) but not Mannah’s. Our Prop situation is a disgrace
Mannah's not solely responsible for today, but he's at least 1/17th responsible, like all the other blokes.
Suggesting he not be bagged is a bit strange?
Mannah's been a bench player at best since start of 2017, he's always been a poor on-field leader, yet in 2018 he is (still) our captain and a starting front rower!
And because the club gave his (still overpaid) hillsong mate an escape from the gold coast, Tmmy's probably now untouchable and will never be dropped....
At least he has a decent dig. The rest you wouldn't feed.
Mannah is a plodder and is over the hill but he is the only forward having a dig.
the rest don’t give a fuck.
I agree. But why wasn't this situation planned for 2-3 years ago. Why didn't we recruit some 20-something year old 6ft 3" Props from other clubs lower grades or feeder clubs back then and develop them? Surely if we did that we'd have at least 1-2 big boppas at our disposal by now. But what have we got? Mannah and then daylight second.
We've been banging on about the fact that Mannah is not rep quality but he's the best our club has. It truly is a disgrace.
