Time to Blood Salmon and Mahoney

Not having a half decent hooker is killing us every week. The hooker handles the ball more than any other player and unfortunately King just isnt first grade standard. Last week our forwards got us into the red zone more than enough to win the game but the lack of good service from King and Smith is just destroying our attack. We look like a group of lost sheep everytime we get near the tryline. So why not give Reed Mahoney a go. We have lost a lot of good juniors over the past years by not letting them play first grade dont make the same mistake with Mahoney.

The same goes for Jaemon Salmon, if he is as good as many say give him a go now. It looks like Dopey is gonski so give the kid a run and see how he goes'

With this season already gone (it makes me cry) its time to develop our team for next year.

  • I be giving a go that way we know if they can handle the NRL next year or not

after what can it hurt we coming last nothing to lose and everything to gain

  • We have nothing to lose so why not, what the team has been doing isnt working. Admittedly i haven't seen much of Mahoney and basing this just off reputation but i would think give Salmon a bench spot and bring him on either to play hooker or in the halves.
  • We have a history of talking up players then letting them go before they reach their dream of an NRL debut in Eels colors.

    ZDK & Matterson for example.

Give these two a go! Every other team is transitioning them every week and we looking outside the flock.

2018 goal should be; develop for 2019 & avoid the spoon at all cost!! Anything better is a bonus!
