This is a follow-up to the deadweight blog and the info comes from zero tackle. I have only included the positions which could be relevant to us. Lots of bodies but not much quality at the right price.

  • ye he resign with manly
  • Parramatta should re - Sign

Seffa - You're kidding me No No No!
Fui - absolute legend but No
    Gower - yes
Sio - wouldn't get into a bidding war.
    Smith - no

Biggest priority- Extend Moeroa and Davis' s contracts until 2018.
    Falou - yes
    • X2

    • Moeroa big time.
  • These are the only players I can consider. Tim Browne has skills but he strikes me as a little slow. I like Ben Hannant and he could come at the right price. I know a lot don't like him. Ava S goes okay. Sopoaga is a workhorse. Nathan Green is solid.

  • Been a fan of Raymond Faitala-Mariner having seen him play in NYC. Big, fast, good hands & can slip a good pass away. May be worth a look as well as Solomone Kata a 19 yo centre that played in Warriors reserve grade team & similar in build to Hurrell.

  • Hi Guys, an article in todays Sunday Tele states that Parra have a good chance of signing Danny Hicks. Maybe to replace Fui?

    • Don't you mean Danny Wicks?
    • True micheal , I think would b good buy
    • Seen an interview with him recently. Now built like the Terminator. Was a good prop prospect prior to his indiscretions: power, speed, skill, good motor. Now just fitter and stronger. Worth a punt I reckon.

Longfin Eel replied to ParramattaLurker's discussion Round 8 Team List v Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (Anzac Round)
"Our juniors need to know that if they are good enough they will get the nod over incumbents. This gives them the drive to succeed here, and also puts incumbents on notice."

Richard Jackson replied to ParramattaLurker's discussion Round 8 Team List v Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (Anzac Round)
"In Flegg against manly last nite we won 52-6 and played as a team. Finally. No-one had a bad game and Kade Moujalli was rated the fans player of the match. Leluai, Talagi, Hudson and Petrus were next best but Cameron Bamblett, even at 6, is a…"

Prof. Daz commented on Hell On Eels's event R8 v Manly: Here We Go Again; Sunday Anzac Arvo at Brookie
"Manly under Seibold: 0-3, 60-98 (-38) vs Raiders, Knights, Chooks
Manly post-Seibold: 3-0, 118-42 (+76) vs Dolphins, Dragons, Cowboys.
Manly have doubled their points-for and halved their points-against post-Seibold. Obviously if the Eels wish to…"

Prof. Daz replied to Parra-all-the-way's discussion Did eels dodge a bullet with Galvin?
"Seems it is Galvin's role at Dogs that is the issue, not necessarily Galvin per se? Galvin permanently replaced Sexton at #7 for Dogs in Round 20 of 2025. After 19 rounds going into Round 20, Dogs were 3rd (12 wins, 4 losses, 3 byes; 366 (f) vs 270…"
