Time for Alvaro too shine

Daniel Alvaro will have to be named against North Queensland with Wick's injury and he may play the rest of the year, going into next year he'll be behind Tim Mannah, Junior Paulo, Pauli Pauli, James Hasson and Peni Terepo with Alex Twal also in the mix. This is the time for Alvaro to show he's better than those guys and claim a bench spot for next year. And I believe every one on this site hope he does it, but unfortunately it doesn't depend on him to perform, his future depends on Arthur giving him time, and now that there is only 3 props fit and 4 are usually needed he'll have to play him. whether he likes it or not
anyone else's thoughts on this???

  • Can't wait to see this kid get a decent run! GO ALVARO !!

    • Seriously he is the next cult hero
Probably because he looks like a down to earth kid who loves footy
  • People, keep in mind the top 25 and second tier salary cap when posting your team list for next week. Norman is out and I think Sandow is finished.
I think Taka & Kelly ( oh dear God why? ) will be the halves, with Hoppa & Morgan in the centres, Robbo at fullback
    • Matterson is in the 25 though?
  • You only need one prop on the field at a time (to make hit ups). The other 'prop' spot could be filled by anyone capable of playing 'lock'. That covers most forwards. Plenty of clubs use a cheap forward who works hard and defends well but offers little in attack. They just don't use him much in attack other than for supports and decoys.
