  Maybe that's the issue I'm not enjoying the game any more and the fact were struggling makes it worse.

  The game should be at its absolute peak. Every team is in with a chance of making the finals, every game is a contest, membership is thriving. But all this positivity is being undermined by ridiculous interpretations and just plain wrong calls. I have been saying for ages, a penalty has too much influence on a game. I'd be happy if we got rid of touch kicks and just gave the team receiving the penalty a new set of 6. We seem to get penalised for little/stupid/pedantic reasons and all of a sudden the defending team is now attacking and that momentum shift seems harsh for something so small. I know people will say it cuts both ways and we should be able to defend it, but momentum is such a huge factor in today's game, I don't think it should be dependant upon such a small penalty.

  Supporters from all teams are sick of inconsistencies. Refs will make mistakes but video refs shouldn't. Rules are always black and white (when they shouldn't be interpreted as such). The game has certain nuances that need consideration. When we take this into account, I think fans will become happier.

    That is exactly right. I was so raged on the weekend with decisions, they are so inconsistent. Video refs reversing knock ons and then not reversing them next time, players staying down for penalties & then next time they stay down no penalty even though contact with the head. Its out of control, every game is so stressful to watch.i watch most games with my old man and I 99% of the time get it right when i say "they'll get a penalty this set".

  Same i just don't watch other games any more i have serious questions about the integrity of the game when every 2 minutes a gambling add appears.
  The rule changes the knee jerk reactions i.e concussion rule. I'm glad it's not just me.

  The games been destroyed catering for the mums and kids, its been steralised within an inch of its life by the do gooders, the helicopter parents, its lost much of its personalities and charm.

  Theres nothing thats not destroyed when catered for the masses.

  Could you imagine MMA catering for mums and kids, it would be destroyed overnight.

  RL was a game for men, now its a game thats catered for women, soft helicopter parents and children and its basically destroyed for ever.

    I think it was made by men for men to play i don't think a lot of thought went into who would follow it. Women have always followed the game. Only now is the game catering to the pc crowd men and women included
