Weren't the Tigers reported to be shopping Tim Simona around earlier this year including to Parra to "free up cap space"? That seems like a bit ridiculous now as its reported that they and the NRL had evidence last year about alleged drug taking, betting on games he was involved in and also stealing charity money. What a bunch of jerks.

Yeah I put that together too. I'd say there is just some miscommunication within the Wests tigers. I highly doubt those involved in the attempts to offload him knew what was coming. Surely not, but if they did they are grubs.

You can bet they were trying to pass the buck. They knew something dodgy was going on last year as you say. Simona was a good performer on the field for them too. They may have figured it would mean a lengthy suspension with him on the books.

Eels were supposedly shopping around Moeroa too don't forget. Doesn't mean it was serious. And this didn't eventuate so why bother getting into a flap.

  Not in a flap, just saying it'd be a pretty shit move if they were to offload him knowing what was coming, obviously it's all hearsay, they may not have made any attempts at all to offload him.

Simona has now implicated team mates in cocaine taking. So the tigers and NRL will try to dig to see who?? Im sure names are gonna come up.

Don't think it's a coincidence that they were reportedly shopping Kyle Lovett for the same reasons and a week later it was out that he actually was caught with coacaine a few weeks prior. I think the Tigers were doing the dirty and offloading a couple of players before the shit his the fan

Would the tigers still have simona,s contract in there 2017 cap??

  I don't think they would have his contract included in the cap. Very harsh if they have to include it.
