  • No, i wouldnt call tim Soft, hes played a decade of 1st grade footy in the front row, Tims a tough bloke as is anybody who plays 1st grade, especially for that long.

Tims just lacked attitude and aggression over his career imo, Beau Scott is an honest toiler like tim, but the thing that seperates them is attitude and aggression.

    • Mannah has played at the top level including SOO in the hardest position - front row, not second row. How does he lack attitude and aggression? Surely if he was lacking in these areas he would be on the scrap heap by now?
    • Mannah is far better than half the props over the last 10 years to play origin Snake. He turns up every week for our club and performs well every game. You know what to expect from him every time he plays. Is this what you want when you play Origin, yes!

We have one 1 series in the last 10 years with front rowers who do not perform . Tim played origin when he was in his early 20's when most front rowers are still playing reserve grade.

You say that selectors marked his books to never play origin again? Well 1 in 10 years has worked so well its time for a change?
    • Seriously Wayne????? Great club player. But thats it.
    • Yes Nick, unfortunately for NSW Tim is better than most of the front rowers we have used over the last 10 years. Maybe this is why we have lost ao many series.
    • Not to nit-pick a well constructed post but I think he debuted '09

    • I'd say the best thing about Mannah is his defence. He is tireless and very safe, where plenty of front rowers are a bit of a liability in defence.

    • Seems BA has indicated that he had a sore shoulder, & I would say that they are going to have scans on it, doubt very much that Tim would be bludging or the like, let alone being soft. Have seen him play big minutes with head bandages & other injuries, so I suspect something more than just soreness & the medical staff would not allow him back on the field until assessed.
