  • They can have him...

He'll be playing second row anyway and we have more than enough backrowers and hookers at our club. We ought to save our pennies for centres and a marquee halfback.
  • As much as I love the pig but I agree with Bourbon Man. His days as a hooker are very limited and he is more of a second row front rower these days and we have enough of them but having said that it is good to see piggy back in the NRL. He is truly one of a kind.
  • Agree BM we need try scores and someone that can organize the boys. I do still love the fact that the pig will be back in the NRL
  • Great to have another genuine character back in the game, I can definetely see Piggy snagging himself a media deal with Fox or someone at the end of the season.

As already mentioned however Piggy wouldn't have been any real benefit to the Eels this year, his presence would have probably only stalled the progress of younger second rowers coming through i.e. O'Hanlon, Lasalo, Filiga, Brien
  • i read an article saying he would be signed on a second tier contract purely as a backup for farah, so un likely he will be playing nrl until at least origin time anyway
  • we have casey mguire , much better buy then riddel
  • I agree Casey McGuire is a better player than piggy

    The utility value
    better kicker
    faster runner
    better pass

enough said but i did like piggy when he was at parra
  • Agree with you also Bourbon man. Had we not signed Casey, then Id be all for chasing him. Our money is definitely better spent elsewhere, the only problem is were struggling to spend it on the positions we desperately need covering!

"Fair Cumberland. I dont know Mills' situation and you may be right. It may be personal reasons.
I only know what I have heard from people who have first hand knowledge. These are people that I trust and would have no reason to lie"

"That is what we are lacking in our forward pack mainly, a prick. We need a JWH or NAS someone who will get under the skin of the opposition but also intimidate. We have nice guys, with Dylan Walker only one to question things."
