There was a number of refereeing issues that completely changed the result, with decisions made during scoring plays. There was just so many, that appeared wrong or very dubious at best. Something smells foul.
Was that before he knocked it back or after. Plenty of people post stuff on the internet to stir people up. The replay definitely looked like he grabbed him after the first touch
No it was totally fine. He didn't tackled him prior. I just watched the highlights replay several times. Nothing wrong with it.
Yeah the tv isn't that old but I guess the screen shot I got could be a glitch lol
There was a tiny bobble before he grounded it though. Not that I would have taken the try off him, but I would have awarded Lane's try and Sivo's second try - particularly in light of Naufaluma's second try which was a clear bobble.
We got the rub of the green from the onfield ref, but not from the video refs.
Personally, I would have preferred the tries awarded to us and the Tigers get a fair spread of penalties.
I thought the tigers got penalties they didn't deserve too and that allowed them out of the arm wrestle a few times. The tigers with all due respect to them, have to play a bit dirty to be any chance and they were regularly offside and holding down in the ruck.
Disagree . I see a trend which is concerning that teams get away with too much tackling us . Ref pings them but has killed our momentum and after a while they get sick of pinging the opposition and then get us for minor stuff to even up the stats so they don't get smashed
The refereeing was terrible last night for both sides, we should have been awarded Penisini's Try as there was at no stage at all that the ball went forward and Lanes was 50/50, i don't think he knocked it on but I can live with that one, the penalties for both sides were soft
No this is after he had already bobbled the ball so he is free game to be tackled.
Having said that we copped a terrible call against Canberra in typical fashion which seemed to suggest otherwise
I was watching on Kayo and pausing, playing, pausing, playing. Not sure what else to do. But this was there was no bobble before this
