  • Who makes up these NRL draws ? Do they drop out of a gum ball machine or something? Although the Eels do have a reasonably good draw this year.

  • That draw would be a challenge even for the premiership favorites.

    Poor feckers.

  • Parra have arguably the easiest draw of all the teams.
  • It's better to take on the top teams early when they're not game hardened. I'd rather them now than in Rd 21 - 26! ... Still fecking sux they have them in a row.
We had a similar situation last year where we played the top teams early and the had an easy run in the last 6 rounds.

I'd be very wary of them come round 4 vs us, they would have had a pretty good hitout and would have seen their weaknesses by then.
    • You'd rather face them around origin time when they have key players missing.

  • Yes have too agree; you got to feel for West’s - i do. I wonder if other teams get such as hard draw?

  • This is closest comp in years other then a the usual suspects at top of ladder. Spots 7-16 are very even and I don't think there are any games that are a given this year with any team not at 100% able to be beaten. This is definetly true early in season before sides get into flow of season and injuries testing the depth of some clubs so hard to judge difficulty of each clubs draw.
That said it is not fair for a team from bottom 4 last season to have 5 games against top 4 sides to start season.
Nrl draw is a joke with lot teams playing same sides twice in a month and some teams having play lot more short turnarounds or more top 8 sides from previous season then others.
I would like see top 8 play each other twice and other sides once with bottom sides having 2 games against others that missed the 8.
It would allow clubs climb ladder, attract sponsorship and better players instead same sides holding the advantages year after year.
It has been proven how hard to win comp from outside the top 4 so have no problem with some sides with easier draw filling these spots to give fans of all clubs hope and raise interest levels of the fans.

"LB, Eli, good discussion gents. We've acted in good-faith. By the book. With clean hands. Lomax appears not to have. But regardless of that, equity is not unlikely to view a 3-year restraint until 31 Oct 28' as overly-punitive and read it down.
