"Probably because Melbourne, schifcofske and the lawyer aren't going to voluntarily provide evidence (documents) which may incriminate them or their client if the nrl conduct their own investigation. Best to subpoena them as part of the court process…"

"NQ would never allow Purdue to leave. Only way he does is signing elsewhere for 2027. He's gonna play 7 this year.
Though some average teams would take the risk on him, issue is he more likely doesn't want to play for them."
