Three players to be rested for Brisbane v Parramatta

Though 2 are not really players of note, Brisbane are resting Selwyn Cobbo, Ryan James and Rhys Kennedy ahead of must win clash v Parramatta tomorrow night. Not a massive deal as Keenan Palasia, Zac Hoskings and Jordan Periera are the ones that will more likely come in, yet surprising as Brisbane need to win this to keep Canberra away, they win they are in finals officially.

Anyway, hope this move benefits us.

  • Why are they resting them now? what am i missing.

    • Seems strange. But the Broncos have been going backwards for a few weeks. Maybe they're just cooked

      • Maybe they saw the bench BA named and felt comfortable resting players.

In all seriousness Cobo has looked cooked since SOO. Not surprised they are resting him.

As far as the other two go, they are no big loss and the players that are replacing them are like for like.

      • Seems weird. Cobbo hasn't played a lot of footy lately, not sure about the other two. If anyone needed a rest you would think it would be Payne Hass.

    • Young squad that are physically cooked, some of the contact and missed tackles v the storm was ordinary - I think they want to freshen up the team and put everything into the dragons game

    • they know if they win there last game there in the 8.

I think Penriffffffffffff will do the same against Cows in the last game.

      • One win might not be enough for them, the raiders play manly and tigers and could easily win both by 30-40.

  • The Bronx are a win and 46 diff. Points ahead of the raiders. They've probably given up the hope of a home final so a good win against the dragons should be the aim

  • Cobbo said he felt burnt out and told Kev he felt he needed a rest
