OK I know the issue of sponsorship has been flogged like a dead horse but I have a suggestion which would be great from a PR perspective. Following on from last Sunday's 'Stay Kind' charity day, Bernie and team should seriously think about keeping it on the jerseys for the rest of the year or until we find a sponsor. Thoughts?

  • Why not.... Not like we have anything else to put there.
  • Agreed, can't really see a downside to promoting a good cause further.
  • I don't trust anyone that says "PARRA 1947" looks good
  • Wouldn't hurt! But not ALL canary yellow shirts please!
  • this is a pretty cool idea, could we get it heard somehow ?

  • Agree - no issue with the logo or cause but please not on those stupid all-yellow shirts.

  • Good idea mate, we really missed a good opportunity this year, we could have really helped a charity out and helped our image with a charity on our jersey, very poor form from Bernie on this one.

    • Just sent a message to the eels corporate partnership email address. We will wait and see what they come back with.

    • 100% Snake. I actually emailed the club earlier this year with the idea of having a different charity each month on the Jersey rather than Parra 1947. Our brand has obviously been damaged from last year and supporting a charity would have been great promotion for the club and helped restore our corporate brand. Very poor form from the club.
