If he gets us in the 8, give a 3 year contract, third being an option in clubs favour, it's not like the other candidates are notable ones, other than Madge who is too much like brad
I don't think he has the time to convince the club tbh.
Even if he did, the club would need Barrett to get the Eels into the semis and playing a lot more consistently than they have the last few years.

I kind of think if you gave him a good supporting structure and fixed up some of the holes in the roster he could do a solid job, but none of that will happen 🤣

It's actually possible tbh, if Moses gutho are in the team and they are playing confidently it's a dangerous attacking footy side
If he gets us in the 8 I'll give a 2 year contract, maybe. He does seem to be a great attack coach. While we played well before 2022 I can see with Moses in the side last year and this our attack can pull of some really nice stuff. More flair than the more rigid BA stuff of say 2019-2022.
Can he handle being a head coach with the problems we have with pathways and football operations? Not sure.
Attack is definitely his thing , and I think you'd see brown and Moses unleashed a bit more. Would need to hire some defensive minded assistants to keep that area of the game up to scratch. Guess we'll just see how the remainder of the season plays out

I wouldn't hate Madge as coach but also not sure if he's much better then BA. Another old school hard nose coach. Let's see how he goes for NSW but unsure if he's the answer
