In my opinion I feel like we should move gutho to the front line (#6), change brown to either fullback or centre. We desperately need speed in the backline. Gutho is fit but he's not that quick. Wouldn't even mind seeing Russell get thrown in the #1.

No bad thoughts Alex. I agree. We need a bit of a change up as we are looking a bit stale in attack. Give Dylan and Gutho a swap this week and see how that goes. Can't hurt?
I don't know what the deal with Brown is. He has speed and a great short passing game, but it's like he's planted on one wing and doesn't move. Pretty easy to shutdown as he plays in a 15 meter corridor.
I would like to see Brown roam around more, like Luai.
Fullback is too important a position to move Gutho from. Sure if we had a better fullback move him on, but I don't think Brown could do the positional play, catch the highball or do the fullback style defence of Guth.
Nope! Gutho is a fullback who plays a roving game anyway. He wouldn't be any good as a 6 In my opinion.
Well now we have confirmation gutho would be a good 6.
All jokes aside, gutho has all the skills to be a 6 and more than likely will end up there at some stage of his career, keep an eye out in the near future to see if the club shows any interest in a fullback. It could be an indication a gutho move to 6 is already in motion. Brown could be the odd man out. He is likely to get big offers from other clubs that the eels either aren't willing or unable to match and with BA handing the running of the team other to his son in the absence of moses instead of Brown could be another indication he isn't in the clubs long term plans.
Something needs to change but probably the wrong time of the year to be making such drastic changes.
I think BA just needs to look at his tactics. The one out crap followed by a bomb is not working, against the good teams at least.. As Sterlo just said on the footy show they just need to start throwing it around more and mixing it up a bit, especially coming out of their own end.
