In all my years of supporting and following the Parramatta Eels this current team and coach are an absolute disgrace! Ive been supporting this club since Cumberland Oval days as have many supporters on this site and elswhere in this nation and overseas have been doing. Its not as if we as supporters we are asking for the impossible but surely the team that takes the field can put in more than an effort considering the amount of salary these players get and to be able to do something for a living they thoroughly enjoy! What does Brad Arthur actually teach these players? What skill sets are taught during the week? What tactics are implemented? What research of the opposition are taken into consideration? What defensive and offensive drills and thought processes are taken into consideration? I havent seen any Eels team being competitive since 2009 when Daniel Anderson was coach and prior to that it was under the coaching of Brian Smith. Since then its only progressed from bad to worse to rotten! I truly cannot understand for the life of me why Brad Arthur was given an extension of another 2 and a half years on his contract as its quite obvious that hes way out of his depth in coaching a professional NRL team. We as supporters can make all the excuses under the sun BUT this team and this coach are absolutely inept , unprofessional and any player that comes to this club who even remotely was a quality player soon turns to rubbish within half a season of wearing the blue and gold. This club is gaining a reputation as a semi - retirment home for players who can just come sit back, take it easy, put in the odd good performance when they feel like, then getan extension and pay rise on their contract and then play like a semi retired player for the rest ofthe time they're here! Totally unacceptable!

I agree . Anyone with half a brain can see this coming with decisions that have been made in the last few years and anyone can see the decisions being made now are setting us up to not get out of it .
Everytime you post stuff like this some idiot comes on to challenge you , yet we watch the same shit week after week , season after season. The re-signing of BA this season has set out club back another 5 years.

Agree 100%. It is only going to get worse before it starts to get better. Minimum of 5 years after BA fucks up for the next 2.5yrs.
Can't argue too much. I hope it is proved wrong, but not looking good.
