Things are better than I remember them EVER being at the Eels

Ok, so we might be sitting in 12th spot on the ladder and it is unlikely that we're going to make the finals this year.Winning the comp in '09 isn't everything (although it would be really nice).The reason I am so happy about where Parra are at is due to the attitude of our players.How long has it been since so many of our off contract players have stated their desire to stay with the Eels instead of looking elsewhere for more money?Has there ever been an Eels player who got offered more money at Manly and decided to take less to stay with us? It is usually the total opposite - go to Manly, earn the big bucks, sell your soul and say screw you Parra.We are just entering some very good days at the Eels. We have a great coach, a new CEO who has some very impressive pulling power already, we have a stack of local juniors who are starting to play some great footy as a team and we have some very exciting names joining the ranks in 2010.It's great being an Eels fan!

Daniel Anderosn's influence is starting to rub off on the players and the club.. Plus we have now gone over 120 minutes without a point scored against us..at some games at the start of the year we were letting in a point a minute !

Back in the day STERLO was offered a masive deal by Manly but stayed for less due to the O.G Master Jack Gibson and the culture and atmosphere that had been created and kenny, ella pricey, guru and co all appreciated this and stayed solid and the memories they share cannot have a price put on them. Ando is a genuine EELS man and that counts for heaps when passion and a desire to win is spoken about and obviously the players are starting to buy into this feeling and want to be part of a premiership which will be remembered forever by all of us, a moment in time if we can achieve such a feat, so lets all march on united in our desire for a competitive footy team that competes week in week out, Go The EELS.

  Karma repaid Sterlo too, he chose not to sell his soul to the devil, and god rewarded him with premierships & big fat pay cheques from channel 9 :P

And all this coincided with Camo's return from Kazakhstan. Coincidence? I think not. Could it be that Paul Osborne is just Camo in disguise?

  Brilliant observation. Camo returned for the Storm game and we've won three in a row since he got back. Coincidence? I think not!
