  To be honest, I thought the boys showed a lot of pride in the jersey tonight. Injuries and penalties went against them early and in past seasons the heads would have gone down midway through the first half. I have never thought the eels could make this years top 8, but after tonights performance, I now think they can.

  The last 10 mins was disappointing, but the rest of the time they stayed in the game which was good to see.
  
  Disappointing that they didnt play right up to the final buzzer, theres a big difference between losing by 10 and losing by 20 when a close season nearly always relies on for and against.
  
  All in all it was an okay team effort given the error count, penalty count and injury count.

  Far from disgraced.

  We overcame some big obstacles to stay in the game.

  I don't understand why Hoppa didn't get put on the wing and Norman to fullback in defence when Semi went off, we would've been 100 times better in defence, Taka on the wing cmon really?

  Y does it always seem lik dogs don't have to play well to beat us? Dogs were very average tonight & they stil won by 20.

    Because they had all the ref calls and we had all our players getting injured
