No one esle will speak up for the club more than its supporters. I heard Gus Gould saying the fans feed off the media. As soon as i heard this tripe I felt the need to comment. When it come to sport and especially rugby league its the exact opposite, it's the media that feeds off the fans. This is none more true that the current situation regarding BA. There is none more deserving of providing their knowloedge and opinions than the fans. We watch every minute of every game. We the know every single strength and weakness of the team and its players. Are there ttimes when our opionons are made in haste? Yes. However, after 9 years the comments regarding BA are not in haste. Are we greatfull for what he's done up to this point? I think most would say yes. However Parra fans are greedy. We don't just settle for just making the 8. We dont settle for just making the top 4. We want more. If we are overchiving then perhaps we would settle on settling but the reality is the team has been good enough in the last 4 years to at the very least make one preliminary final. If this was acheived then perhaps an argument coulld be made to retain the coach.
Since early in the season is was obvious certrain aspects needed fixing, especially our edge defense yet nothing has changed. He seems lost as to what to new strategies to imply or what lineup up change might fix certain deficiencies. However, similar to past seasons he continues with his one and only plan, even when things go astray. 19 rounds in and no changes! If he's finally decided changes are needed then he's leaivng it extrememly late. I couldn't care less who gets picked from Jacob Aurthur to Juniour Paulo. All I care about is what is best for the club and I/we think if certain players souldn't in our top 17 and others should be, we will vloice that opinion. The fans have spoeken. We thank you for being a good regular season coach BA and appreicate what you have done but we need more than a good regular seaon coach. If we are wrong and you get us to the priomise land by or close to it by seasons end I think we all happily eat crow, but if not then the club needs to move you on. The suppoerters voices should always be heard so continue speaking up for your club.

The commentators and bookies aren't as clued in as they claim. Eels have been favourites for them for most matches, but many here know they wouldn't beat the bottom teams.
