Just looking at the Eels website and noticed Hoppa's player profile says he is either a Center or Winger.
We only have 2 players actually listed as Fullbacks - Reece Robinson and Adam Quinlan. Reece is already playing in his other position as a Winger, while Quinlan is stuck playing for Wenty (and can also play halfback, though we're good for that at the moment).
Quinlan is the same age as Hoppa and has already played 25 first grade games for the Dragons, with his debut at Fullback. 10 games in 2013 (with 5 try's) and 15 games in 2014 (scoring 3 try's). Even Robinson used to be the starting Fullback for the Raiders at one point. Reece is 27 and has played over 100 first grade games. Even if you reckon Quinlan is inexperienced, you can't say the same about Robinson !!!

I give Quinlan a go at fullback cant hurt because we getting beat any way
Sorry - I know his first game was at FB and have read that he primarily played there, but don't know for sure.
I would give Quinlan a shot against newcaslte. we prob gonna loose anyways.
1.Quinlan
2.Robinson
3.Taka (if still injured Morgan)
4.Hoppa
5.Folou
Backline is dangerous providing Quinlan can fire like last year when playing for dragqueens. I remember he was running threw gaps and killing it when dugan was injured.. it was when dragons were going good.. then dugan came back.. they turned to shit.. then he went back there with dugan going to centre for origin and they started to almost fire to make the 8
ohh and taka is there and NOT MORGAN.. morgan is good in defence.. but MY god he cant throw a decent pass. NOT NRL STANDARD FOR A CENTRE
At the least, we could swap Hoppa and Robinson
Not a bad idea. Give Norman a go at FB at the end of the year when we are well and truly out of finals contention. Give him some practice before next year
I don't care what he looks like, if he can play better than Hoppa... so the answer is YES
