The Time Is Now!!!!

The time is now for the team to stand up and be counted. Are we there to make up the numbers or win the premiership? The season isn't over, it's just begun. The players have to realize that to win a premiership they have to play as a team where no one man is bigger than any other. If Hayne has a great year it's a bonus but the team has to learn to win without him eventually. They have to show pride in their jerseys. If they turn up to the match thinking they're going to lose they will. They have to get the basics right. The fringe defence was terrible. Everyone was grabbing, no one was tackling. They have to realise that to play for Parramatta is a privilege not a right. Maybe we, as fans shouldn't have booed them at half time. He'll, as a LFC supporter it seems crazy to boo the team your support. When Liverpool trailed 6-2 against Arsenal the supporters sang You'll Never Walk Alone. If the team stands up and plays well next week will these 2 weeks be forgotten? Excuses can only last so long. Every game is decided by who wants it more. In any fight, it's the guys who is willing to die who's gonna win that inch. The team's priority has to be to win the game they are currently playing, not switch to thinking about next week. A team who plays with pride and passion will win the majority of their games. In order to win in the NRL you have to taste to win, want to win and above all else have the WILL TO WIN. Come September will we be cheering Parraon in the finals when 8 teams have gone home? I sure hope so. It's time the team and the supporters stood up to be counted. Many of the players look like they're dreaming about premiership glory. Well maybe someone should've told them to stop dreaming. Because what's gotten them into the NRL and previous finals has been hard work, sacrifice and self-denial. It's been about a perfectly disciplined will that has refusen to give in. When the players stand up to be counted the NRL will know that THIS IS PARRAMATTA.

  • Sadly I don't think this is the case. Our unit is outclassed in defence, the air, creativity, attack, individual flair and basically every element in the modern game today. I struggle to see us making it out of the bottom four at the moment.
    • Well you're optimistic aren't you? It's been said many times that we're out-enthused. Passion has a lot to do with winning. The Sharks played with plenty of passion and beat the reigning premiers. Once the team discovers what it's like to wear the jersey with pride, then they'll start winning.
  • the time has passed

    stop dreaming and face reality
