  A new fresh coach and no old players with baggage. Easy for a SOO team. You can chop and change dramatically with a plethora of great players waiting in the wings. If only it was that easy for our atrocious team.

  Sure it has to turn eventually, but whether it happens anytime soon is another story. Giant asteroids strike earth roughly every 500 million years. Dinosaurs were wiped out roughly 65 million years ago. So surely with the next 435 million years or so we could win the comp. Surely....

  As long as every other sides key players retire we should be sweet . Throw Cam Smith into that QLD side and we would’ve lost another series .  As much as Gus tried to pump that game up last night because Malloney and Cleary were in it, deep down everyone knows it was a hollow win .

    I don't believe it was a hollow win. NSW didn't have Andrew Johns either. Every player has to retire at some stage. QLD perhaps weren't able to replace these guys, and you can see that NSW are in a better place to rebuild.

    Yeah didn't have the same hype this year. We won, which is what we all wanted but yeah a hollow win.

      It hasn’t had hype for ages . When was the last time two players had a bitter feud ?  Not just some shit the papers make up to drum up interest , I mean an actual on field hate for each other ?    It’s just another NRL like game now . 

      Those tackles where they dragged the other player over the  sideline into touch once upon a time would’ve been a legal and match lifting tackle . Now it’s a fucking penalty ?  Wtf .....  that’s the sort of stuff that made Origin .

    Nathan Brown, Moses & French were named in extended squads weren't they at the start of the year?
