The Starting Props

I want to get peoples thoughts on how our prop rotation should go this year?..

Cayless is captain so he has to start but who with? Fui or Poorey?...I would say to have Fui coming off the bench after 20 mins would be a great impact for us...but really Fui gives us the impact whenever he is on the field...I think Mannah is a great young prop and he will become something special over the next few years...he is a future captain in my eyes. Any thoughts?

  • Are you the bongo guy I saw on the news last year? lol
    • yer he is, hes just being modest haha
  • Well, assuming that the news is that Cayless is stepping down as captain. I think Poore and Fui will start. With Mannah and Cayless to come on about 20 to 25 mins in. I think that would be very damaging. Although I think with the props we have anyway they take the field it's going to be awesome!

Completely agree with you about Mannah. Going to develop into a very successful player. Poore can only help is development.
  • What is the news Tony Bongo ? If Cayless stands down he is preparing to be released imho. Mid season move to UK maybe. What is it you have heard ?
  • bahahaha. Talkin yourself up i see Tony, nah but seriousley love your stuff and can't wait for the swarm.
  • the news is that Pirtek have signed a new 3 year deal, nothing to do with cayless' contract.
  • My 2 props would be moimoi and poore starting with caylo on the bench , but obviously that won't be happening, so i am assuming that Cayless will start alongside Poore with Fui coming on to add impact.
  • Agree on both counts. It should be Fui and Poore, but it will be Caylo and Poore.
  • Cayless will now doubt start....but he needs to step up to the plate....show some big time aggression ......otherwise ....see Brett Kenny.....4 a job interview.............
  • Cayless and Poore should start this year. Cayless as captain and Poore as an Origin prop. Moimoi has been playing a lot more minutes per game over the last couple of seasons, but I think he could be extremely effective off the bench for impact.

Having said that though, Cayless definitely needs to take some sort of paycut. He's only really good for experience and leadership skills these days...

Only way it's hush hush is if he is actually staying."
