I'm not sure this has been discussed yet but the passing on the weekend from Mahoney, Moses and to a lesser extent D Brown and Gutherson was scintillating. They were like serface to air missiles and happening on a regular basis and the commentary on Fox where blown away.
For a while I was wondering if Reed Mahoney would reach the next level and sure he's topped the tackle count this season but I couldn't see how the kid was going to reach an elite level. Now, along with his tackling he has this ball distribution that is second to none. That ball that put Moses over for his second try was absolutely unbelievable.
The 30 metre spiral passes / switch plays by Moses over the last couple of weeks have also been awesome.
I know we are all getting a little excited at the moment but I think we as supporters are feeling something special is happening to our footy club.
We are silently very happy that JWH has been suspended because we believe we can beat the Storm and it would be great to play a weakened Roosters.
And we have reason to be excited. We have one of the most electic back fives in the NRL. We have a young spine that has a huge potential and future. Our playing group have all of a sudden become humble and are owning their mistakes. We have purchased RCG and still have money up the sleeve to bolster our pack that will compliment our backs. And we have the best facilities that are the envy of the league.
We are far from favourites this weekend and may very well lose against Melbourne but something special is happening.
GO PARRA!

We won't be able to throw them against the storm, their line speed will ake sure of that.
Their line speed only works if they hold the middle. If we dominate the middle, they won't be able to get off the line. Teams are also showing a lot of respect to Brown and Moses' short kicking game as it's one of the best in the game. A good chunk of our tries have come from getting the ball into the in-goal and trusting our outside men to get there first.
If every game was at Bankwest we'd be a big shot. Tough ask winning down in Melbourne and they did put over sixty on us last start. We do have a team now that can do it though.
Mahoney's service was ridiculous. We asserted an attacking desire the whole game, no doubt influenced by Arthur's comments the week before. We will need every bit of that to give ourselves a chance against the Storm.
Too true.
That Mahoney bullet pass from an offload 10 out for Moses’ second try was a thing of beauty. I could watch that on replay all day.
I think Joey was pole vaulting all over the Ch9 commentary box over that pass.
I said to my brother that was the best passing I’ve seen in a game since Canberra circa 89-94, and he agreed
Stuff Johns, that was the best passing since the king of the spiral - Ricky Stuart.
Oh how can I forget Ricky. He was a great player and his passing game was brilliant. Just comes across a miserable prick.
Truly amazing pass and from one of our youngest in the squad.....his future looks the goods.
I have been a parramatta supporter for fifty years and no parra team has thrown the ball around like Sunday’s performance, the confedance in the team is just wonderful.saturdays game in Melbourne we know the passing game will be mellowed but just the same will be a great game
